Front license plate bracket.

Continuing my eternal search for a front license plate bracket for my 1973 Olds Cutlass Sup.

Fusik lists them for '68-'72. I wonder if they can be made to fit on the '73 bumper.

I'm not sure on that one. I can't even remember how it attached from the first '73 I owned. The local cop is going to get on me though for not displaying the front plate.

Must be different then. The 68-72's can mount using the top two holes in the bumper. The bracket is an extension for the bottom two holes that just kind of stiffen things up a little bit. If you do have the top two holes, just get some small bolts and run through there with lock washers. they're a bit of a pain to tighten down the nut behind the bumper, but it's not too bad in the grand scheme of things. And much better and a ticket. Autozone even has some "anti-theft" bolts with a pointy head and special tool so they don't look as bad as just a plain bolt going through there.
