delmont pieces...
I'm looking for" Delmont 88" badges for the front fenders, left and right; Pass. side front wheel well crome molding (the simple, not custom); Turn signal lenes(outsides only) left and right, but driver side could due; And the crome strip from rear pass. wheel to rear bumper( i think they call it stock). Please foregive my descriptions the names escape me. Or any info would be a great help.
I know the Delmont was only a two-year model, and I don't know if the badging and so forth was identical for both years, but it would help if you would state the year of your car. Also, even badging that looks identical from the front side could have the mounting studs in different locations for different years, so something that looks like it should work sometimes doesn't if it's not from the same year car.
Pieces like turn-signal lenses, moldings, etc. are probably also year-specific, although pieces from other 88 or full-size models of the same year might work. Again, knowing the year of your car will help answer this question.
These sorts of things appear relatively regularly on ebay. If you haven't done so, get an account on there and set up an automatic notification to let you know whenever something comes up for sale that matches your keywords. This way you don't have to log onto ebay every few days or every week and search as the searching is done automatically. I've found numerous pieces for my cars through the years doing this.

Sorry, so worried about naming the parts I forgot to say its a 1968. I have e-mailed several places none have the parts, did find one place that would remake the badges for $600.00 uncromed. I've been looking for these parts before I even owned the car and still no luck.
You're between a rock and a hard place. I'd have to think long and hard before paying $600 for the fender scripts. None of what you need is reproduced new, as I'm sure you know, and I think your best bet is to keep doing what you're doing.
You've posted your needs here, which is good. I would constantly check ebay as parts like this do appear from time to time. If you can get to it, attending the swap meet at the OCA nationals or at another large Olds meet like the Homecoming would give you a good chance to find the scripts. There are often vendors with lots of these things mounted to boards or in display cases, and, with luck, you can find what you need. I've found scripts for my cars over the years this way.
Part of your problem is the rarity of your car. Being made for only two years means there aren't that many of them, compared to Delta 88s, for example, to donate parts. I'm guessing that fender moldings and so forth might be the same for the '68 Delmont and '68 Delta, but I don't know. If so, that greatly expands your pool of donors.
Good luck.
