I have my old engine harness for a 69 442 A/T 4bbl internally regulated alternator, mine worked fine I just bought a new repro one. If I is compatible w/your 68 I will let it go for 50 shipped to the lower 48.

I think the 69 won't work. The ignition switch in the dash makes a difference.

'68 vs '69 harness

The '68 & '69 harnesses are different; the color codes and pattern of wire location at the bulkhead connector (firewall plug) changed. I had to repair an underhood fire on a '69 when I worked at an Olds dealer and the parts dept. got me a used '68 harness. I had to use two schematics and change each wire at the plug . It all worked, but what a pita.

'68 harness

I'll have to check. I may have one or two, but will have to verify condition. Bob.

Why not get a new harness from one of the vendors?
