Complete 4 speed for '68 Cutlass

Looking for a complete parts inventory to swap auto for a 4 speed in a '68 Cutlass. Heard there was one on ebay, looked but could not find. If you have a donor car I may take the whole thing. I know all about the crank having to have the input shaft indent etc. I'll need pedals to trans to driveshaft if you've got it. Thanks, Jim

Keep checking Ebay....they come up there quite often. I believe any setup from 68 to 72 will work. Make sure you get the correct bolt pattern flywheel....64 to 67 cranks have a different bolt pattern compared to 68 up cranks.

Here's one on ebay that the reserve wasn't met so the auction is over. His buy-it-now was $1300, probably not a bad price. You might watch to see if he relists it, or if he has other auctions you can send him a message to ask if he still has it for sale. ebay # 200071134289

2blu, thanks a million man. I sent the guy a message and I hope he gets back to me. It's all I can hope for at this point. It's all there though. Perfect find, thanks again. Jim

blu, got a hold of the guy and he still has the parts, can't thank you enough. The poor guy had a five freakin' way bypass though and can't do much for a while. Never heard of that before. My heart goes out to him. I can't believe nobody scooped these parts even just to have them, I mean how many times do you run across a COMPLETE setup w/ all the parts to convert to a 4 speed. I would've bought the stuff just to have it you know?

I drooled over it, but the shipping would add a couple hundred more to the price and I don't have the extra money right now. Glad you connected with him. You get parts you wanted, he get the money he needs, the story has a happy ending! John
