'71-'72 Cutlass chassis wanted in Alaska

I have a '72 Cutlass S I've been working on, but the "big dream" eventually is to make a 442 homage/clone, so I'm looking for a '70-'72 fastback body I can swap my parts over to.

I'd be interested in anything from a more or less complete car- even a runner if the price is good- on down to a bare cab and frame. (Paired, for VIN/title reasons.) I can fix rust and do bodywork, so I'm willing to look at even basketcases. Willing to trailer from anywhere in the state.

Thanks for looking.
Doc.

I’m not following. A Cutlass S is a fastback. Same body as a 442.

I may be off on my nomenclature, then. Mine's definitely a notchback, and there were "S" badges on the original steering wheel and glovebox lid. (Any badges on the fenders were taken off by a previous owner, who also stripped the vinyl top off.) So it's a Supreme, then? I suppose I thought "S" meant 'Supreme'.

Either way, I'd like to find a fastback body or car to build from.

Yes notch back = Supreme.
Glove box and grille would have Cutlass Supreme. C-pillar emblems would be CS.

S is a different model.

This would be much easier to follow if you provide the first 1/2 of your VIN. Or you can refer to the image below so we understand what body style you have and what body style you want to end up with.

-According to that diagram, I have a Supreme Hardtop, and I'm looking for the Cutlass Hardtop, Hardtop S or Hardtop Sports.

I'm not shooting for a detail-perfect 442 clone, it's more of a "rodstoration". The quarters of the Supreme I have are all patchwork and about a gallon of Bondo. If I get around to reskinning it, well, I prefer the fastback body style, and that would get me closer to a 442 homage as well. I figure if I can find a parts car or cab, if I've gotta reskin, why not do one with the preferred body style?

If I can't find one, I'll keep driving what I have. Can't hurt to ask.
