Center caps.

I am looking for a set of REASONABLY priced center caps. I think 1972
Cutless Supreme wheels had the correct center caps.
Thanks,
Fletch

You are talking about the SS11 or SS111 wheels right? Center cap clip on or center cap bolt on? They look similar, but the wheels are slightly different to accomodate the center caps. Personally, I love the look of the SS11, but appreciate the utility of the SS111.

Also, the standard Cutlass Supreme wheel was a full steel wheel with deluxe wheel covers, same as all the Cutlass line.

Ah HA..... Center cap bolt on's. Not to bore you, these are going on some Mag 500 ralley wheels NOS. My Old Cobra Jet used GM center caps. Trying to finish up a complete resto on a Torino GT/Cleveland. Ford and GM used the same vendor.
Not asking for show/ but good daily driver condition.
Thanks,
Fletch

Would love to see a picture of that! I know the SS1 wheels are from the same vendor (Magnum I think they called them for other brands) Wasn't aware that the bolt on caps were used on Ford stuff at all....

I have a couple sets of them, but they need 100% restored. NEW ones can be had for like $50-60 each though... and NOT repops, but genuine GM ones.

Ok, so bolt-on and snap-on is easy enough for me to figure out , but I'm a little slow when it comes to SSI, SSII and SSIII rims??? Based on the previous posts, I'm guessing the SSI's are the 5-spoke style that were used on various makes & models, not just Olds. What's the difference between SSII and SSIII?? And what would the difference be for the center caps?

Without a pic it's hard to say, SS I to me look very similar to Buick and some Ferd wheels. The only difference in a [bolt on center cap] SS II and III is the SS III were painted the body color and the SS II were a argent grey.
See if this helps ya out

YOu are looking for these yes?

Super Sport 1 rims for Oldsmobile or Magnums in the other car lines.

I was thrown by a couple posts. These are not bolt on, as in bolt on to the wheel. They are held in place by a plate and a a couple screws.

The "bolt on" caps of the SSII and SSIII versions of the rally wheel was exactly as described... they bolt onto the wheel itself.

Is the pic any help?

Eightupman: Correct picture !! for the Mag 500 wheels. Red emblem in the center if it was for a Ford wheel. You can give me a call 214-697-1454 and let me know the condition and price.
Regards,
Fetch
