Looking for the indash tach in the two attached pictures.

Are these aftermarket - or were they available from the factory in 1966 or 1967.

Would rather have these than the small left side Sidewinder Tach.

Any information would be appreciated or better yet do you have one for sale??

Those were available in 1966 and 1967 from the factory. It's called a rally pac gauge setup.

They're rare. The 1966 ones are very rare compared to the 1967s. There are differences between both years. You can find them but they are pricey.

Like it was posted the 66 units are very hard to find. Your best option is to find a 67 set and have the 66 under dash harness made. You can also buy the 66 rally pack main engine harness & they can also make the under dash harness from M&H Electric. The 66 & 67 are the same tach/gauge units but the wiring is different. I can refer you to a company that can restore the unit and that's highly recommended . There is a difference between the 66 & 67 dash bezel too. The difference is in the wiper switch pocket but you can use the 67 dash bezel with the 66 wiper switch.

This Rally Pac was released in May of 1966, very late in the 1966 model year, which is why few 1966 versions exist.

 

I have a '67 Rally Pack and two complete sets of '67 wiring. Could I use those on a '66 dash bezel? Asking only out of curiosity, as a sidewinder tach is "Plan A."

 

The cluster yes the wiring no. The under dash harness is different 66 to 67 and the main engine harness is also different 66 to 67. You can use the 67 cluster but will need to buy the 66 harnesses.
