A/C hoses and brackets 72 Cutlass

Thank you for looking.

I am looking for A/C hoses, brackets, and parts that are in the engine compartment.

I will not need Compressor, evaporator, or condenser.

Damaged hoses are ok, as long as the ends are usable.

Post photos of your parts and price you would like for them.
Sorry no photo, no deal. I have been burnt before.
Parts must fit a 72 Cutlass w/455.
Thank you.

Just could not live without A/C, huh - don't blame you...
Did you check with County Line Classics? i was thinking one of those cars there had some A/C parts.

Last time I was out there it was slim pickins for ours cars. I only seen one "s", and that was it. I had to get window stops out of a GP, I think.
It is no longer Pick-n-Play. It is: if find it, they pull it, you pay for it.

Just an update. I stated to Kurt (filibily), "I am not in a hurry" when I sent the money. Three weeks later I asked where what is the est time on the parts. He responded, "you said you were not in a hurry, and I had at least two weeks." September 1st, I sent an email requesting my money back minus $20 for his trouble, he never responded. So I waited a week and called Sept 9. Just now, his phone message stated, "not accepting calls."
Maybe we should make a "do not buy from this person" section under the "parts wanted" section?

Send PM September 1, 2010.

"I have decided to go another route. Please refund my $175, but keep $20 for your trouble. I will expect this soon, ASAP.
Thank you and good luck.
Carl - Dallas"

My next posting should read: "Filbiliy sent 100% refunded, it just did not work out.

This looks like you guys are talking past one another.

I vote ya'll try to work things out in pm's not half post and half pm's.

I'd rather know none of the story than half.

Thanks, I sure you can get though this.

As a bystander, it looks like it has been 7.5 weeks since the original PM was sent.
That long time, along with unreturned calls / emails may have created an uncomfortable situation, regardless of the reasons why. It would have for me anyway (happened to me a while back).
Sounds as if he has found the parts elsewhere or he has changed his mind on adding AC. At this point, it is probably better to just accept Hamm's request.
Hope it works out for both of you with no hard feelings - I think it should.

Is your car a factory non-AC car that you are converting to AC,or was it AC originally, and most of the parts are missing?A non-AC supreme is rather odd, since it was more of the family car,but they did make them.Let me know what you are doing, and what you still need.

I guess he was never straight with you from the start, probably hangs out on these boards just looking at parts wanted threads..
You'll probably have to write this deal off.

Drive down to Austin, I'm parting out 26 70-72 Cutlass cars and every single one has factory AC.

"1. filbily has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space." < CO.com

PM would not send, so I know you will get this msg.

Letting you know I got the check. I will be depositing it Saturday morning.

It is $15 short, but as long as it clears we are done.

So, over all you cleared $255 for your parts and trouble.

I got condenser brackets for $75. Neither what we agree on, nor a fair price.

Good Luck.

OK since you asked:

$175 from me. (You agreed to PayPals so the fee is on you.)
$180 you collected from FedEx. (Your lost package claim = parts)
= $355
Minus (-) the $100 refund. 355 - 100 = 255

Now there is another issue. The $100 refund should have been $115 that I wrote/PM you and we both agreed to over the phone. ($175 - $50 - $10 = $115: not $100) $50 for condenser brackets, and $10 for shipping that did arrive. Only because you said that was the price you wanted. I thought it was too much, but to complete the trade and be fair on my part I agreed to $60 for the condenser brackets. (50+10=60)

And yet another Issue.
My Credit Union would not take your temporary check.

So, as of right now you are sitting on $355.

Why don't you just send a Postal Money Order for $115 and we will call it even. Anything less you are being deceptive.

If any one would like to see the temporary check, just PM me.

no, I got a "check" that my credit union will not take.

I got a phone call after a few of these post and was told he would send a MO. That was a least a week ago, and nothing I can cash. I paid with in hours when I agreed on the deal, but have not receive the same treatment.

iTrader is a simple feedback trader system, positive, neutral or negative rating with a comment section. Shows up on the left above Join Date with a clickable link. ie. Trader Rating (5). The 5 is clickable which goes to another page with all the feedback, sorta like eBay. Lets other know what is going on and whether to deal with that person or not. Luckily in this case, I already know NOT to deal with this person you are having probs with.
