Bumper shocks
I need a set for the rear bumper of an 85 Delta 88.
Pulled a pair at the junkyard today off a Caddie, but they don't fit the bumper I'm hoping I can make my money back on eBay

Still looking for the bumper shocks though.
My buddy at work leant me a 3 lbs sledge to see if I can push them out. I have a replacement bumper, i don't care what happens to the one on the car. Once it's off, it goes to the scrapyard

Well I borrowed that 3 lb sledge and used it today. At first I didn't think it was going to work, but after the first hit, the bumper shock moved out After about 15 minutes of hitting it on either side of the bumper mounted plate, it's back out and even with the other side
I didn't want to do this in my apartment building's parking lot, (because I would get complaints about it) so I took the car around the corner and did it on a city street, in front of the steel factory, which there were some people outside on a smoke break. I gave them all a show
