bucket seats for 1962 Oldsmobile dynamic 88
Looking for from bucket seats for 1962 oldsmobile dynamic 88. I will be replacing my whole interior so all i will need is hardware. also looking for a center console as well.
The bucket seat frames are the same 61-65 all B and C body GM cars, so a set from an Impala SS will probably be easiest to find. Grand Prix/Catalina and Starfire are also reasonably common. Put your desired upholstery pattern on them.
Console. You want full length with floor shift or the shorty like some Buick Wildcat and Impala SS used? Full length a 61-63 Starfire will work best and if you want the floor shift get it and all the linkage. 62-64 Catalina can also be used as it will accommodate Slim Jim and doesn't have the Grand Prix dash to console filler panel. Impala/Wildcat shifters won't work with the Slim Jim.

Put it this way. There were nine SJ valve body revisions between 1961-1964 trying to get them to shift better. Shoulda just stuck with the four speed Jetaway HMT like Cadillac and long wheelbase Pontiacs did.
I have a set of bucket seats from a 65 Starfire. Drivers is power. Need to be completely redone. and the power track needs rebuilt. Would sell for a deal. Not sure how to ship.
