Automatic floor shifter for 64/65

Hi I'm Jeff, I'm new to the site, I've been mildly restoring a 64 f85 my dad had sitting around forever and gave to me. He's always been into olds and I remember several from when I was young he had. Anyway, I've been looking high and low for a shifter so I can install my console. Any help would be appreciated. I'd post a pic of my car but not exactly sure how

They are hard to find in good working condition, I'm assuming you are talking about an original shifter. Most of them you find the detent is broken and there are no parts to repair them. If you do find one that everything works you'd better be sitting down when the seller spits out the price. Good luck.

I replied to your pm slaughter442, not sure if it sent correctly tho. Anyway thanks for the reply, I'm aware theyr fairly hard to find but just seeing what's out there, I can't break the bank on one as you said jag1886. If I have to I'll make a other more common period shifter work but would like the real deal. Appreciate it
