nope, not in a hurry. i have been researching and collecting parts since last summer. got my block almost prepped. going to attempt my first build in a few months

how much you want for your intake and how many miles you have on it? you upgrading to something else or going back to stock intake?

ill be swapping out this performer intake and the cast iron heads with edelbrock heads and a torker intake. i have no idea of miles on the intake, motor is in a car i bought..motor is supposedly fresh rebuild.i will know for sure when i get it apart.need heads? ide like 150 for the intake..thats less than half of a new one..ill put your name on it if you want it for sure.

150 is fair. as long as its in good shape and the threads are good. is it an egr or non egr intake? do you know if ill have to get special gaskets to run the performer or just the valley pan?
i have a pair of "j" heads that i was planning to use but if yours are "c" and not too expensive i may consider. heard the "c" heads are better but not sure if i want to buy a pair since i have good heads already, not wanting to spend too much for my first build. kinda a test upgrade from the 350 my car has in it now

i will confirm that intake is in good shape,if not the price will drop accordingly.pretty sure it doesnt have egr.car isnt here otherwise i would just go look..motor has "G" heads on it now..previous owner said they were ported..we will see whan i take it apart..that should happen as soon as i get the car back from my rearend guy this week...

ok sounds good. im not too familiar with the "G" heads but its my understanding that the "J" heads are crap. free crap is my reason for bolting them back on lol but if your heads are far superior to mine, and not in need of too much work id consider taking them too.

my email is harleyjasondavidson@hotmail.com you can send me pics when you get into your motor or a reminder that you have them for me just in case i forget a month from now

thanks a bunch
