I need the pivot swivel backing plate. I have the housing and mount internals that go inside housing, but the swivel plate that the mirror attaches to is missing. Please help!

I have a box of 71-72 sport mirror parts. I should have that.

Cool. Thx. I didnt lose it, car didnt come with one. Just an empty housing attached to the door. Anyone got pics of how it goes together? Though it will probably be self explanatory when I see the part.

 

I have it. The actual piece if mirror glass is not there,but the plastic back plate,and the swivel assembly is. It will need soaked to free-up the swivel.

70-82 camaro firebirds use the same mirriors. I can usually find a decent set at the yards around me. On 50% off weekend I can usually score a pair for $15-20. 76 and up used the convext passenger side glass with the "Objects in the mirrior..." Not correct for a cutlass but a pretty nice feature.
