84 olds customer cruiser wagon

I am also looking for the factory socket key that screws the wire spoke hubcaps onto the wheel and also if anyone has one of these wire spoke hubcaps. There are several of those "keys" and it must be matched to the pattern on the retaining screw.

well I did not know that. never heard that before. this is a 1984 olds customer cruiser wagon. i will look on the key and see if there is an identifying number on it. It has the letter A stamped on the end of it. Phil Scott

Ok. How much do you want for it and the shipping and how do you want to be paid? I have a key but thought i had better get a spare as you are in big trouble out on the road without it. Phil scott

I didn't indicate that I had one; only that there are several different variations. I'm sorry if you misunderstood my post. They were available from the dealer by the letter id; don't know if they still are.

i think you mean Custom Cruiser. The locking wire wheel assemblies are coded, as already noted. They also require a special attaching ring that bolts loosely to 3 of the wheel lugs. Same assemblies from 1981-1987. Not just for CCs though. They are the same for the 1981-1984 Ninety Eight, and 1981-1985 Delta 88.

There's such low demand for these items I dont keep them anymore. Threw out the last of em this past summer.

Yes, my typo. My car has all the wire wheel factory hub caps, just looking for a spare and the key is coded a on the end of it. Thanksl. Phil scott

i brought a full size wagon once that was missing the hub cap key. i took matco tools wck402 wheel cover lock kit and removed the locks. i just use bolts in place of the locks
