Looking for a 71 to 72 olds 8.5 10 diff. Gear ratio doesn't matter, would perfer something nearby [ Chicago, Il]

You say your are looking for an 8.5 Diff.,which I have several of,but I'm thinking you really mean a whole rearend.

Still unclear what you want. The carrier houses the differential gears and is often referred to as the “differential”. So do you want an entire rear end or just the differential/carrier?

Ok i'll play along. Drum to drum complete differential housing assembly. Hope this clarifies it.
