76 Olds Regency landau pillar light strips

This is a request for a friend of mine and he needs the light strips that go on the pillar on a 4 door. Not really sure how these work but I guess they are a filament metallic strip that glows but eventually burns up? anybody heard of these or have any idea where they can be gotten?

I believe you are talking about the light that was on the 86 98 rather than a 76. The 76 did not have a pillar between the door/window. I had a 1988 98 Regency Brougham 4-door that had these lights that glowed and my dad had a 1985 98 Regency Brougham Coupe that had them also, only on the top next to a large opera window. We needed to replace the ones on the 85 Coupe and they were very expensive when you could still get them from a dealer. I would think they would be almost impossible to find now. I never actually saw what type of bulb they had.
