73 olds 98 455 fuel pump to carb line
73 olds 98 455 fuel pump to carb line
Ordered my fuel line today!
I am looking for a very nice fuel pump to carb factory fuel line. This is for a 73 olds 98 with a 455 engine. or if anyone knows if someone reproduces this i would be interested in that also. I see lines listed to 1972 then nothing after that and i am not sure why its different.
Thanks for all help
Greg

Have you tried Inline Tube? I needed one of these for my '67 Delta 88. They had one, and it works well.
Scroll down to part number OCE7501 on this page. $20.

If you get one, I suggest getting the OEM instead of the stainless. I bought the stainless and found that the metal was harder, making it more difficult to tighten the connection between the new line and the fuel pump enough so that it wouldn't leak. The seal is made by the slight deformation of the metal, and the OEM steel is probably softer and easier to make the seal with.
I eventually got mine to stop leaking. What I had to do was tighten the connection about 1/8 turn or thereabouts each day for about a week (on the advice of others).
I had no leak issues at the other end, where the new line screws into the carb.
