Ductale spoiler ?
hav a mystery spoiler in rafters believe its abs ....top & bottom ...uncertain if pedestals are there ...proly not ...do you hav pix at all ??
Txt email address to 989 721 9432 for pix
Thanks for the reply, no pedestals on these. The spoilers were originally used on the 1976 Buick Free Spirit. They mimicked the spoilers used on the 76-77 Cutlass fastbacks that ran Nascar back in the late 70's, early 80's. Since the Buick Regal and Cutlass share the same decklid in these years they are a direct fit. The Buicks had end caps, they don't fit the Cutlass tail lamp housings. I had 2 at one time (1 was meant for my current car) and let them go with the cars I sold when I was down and out. I'm still down, but not out yet. Here's a pic of what I'm looking for. '77-442
Swing & a miss
workin on aqisition of 77 442 but uncertain of spoiled or unspoiled
Whats a rough estimate on that ?
Friend may hav one , is that same width as decklid ??? Part # ??
Let u know if anything posative happens
Yea they are the same width as the decklid. I Think I paid a couple hundred a piece off EBay 10 years or so ago. The guy that was re-popping them (Andre) was selling them for a few hundred IIRC. If you acquire a 77-442 Let me know, thanks.
Send email address for pix...in th works could b next week or 6 mos ?????
hav 73 S project red / burgundy with hood /grills / tail lights to four 4 fake it
77 442 headder & special 455 cutlass hood w/ fake louvers like 71-2 but for special 73 - 455 cutlass
Amoungst other stuff...
It mounts with 2 studs on each end and I believe 3 or 4 down the center. The factory used acorn type nuts. I was hoping maybe someone bought one of the re-pops and ended up not using it. I don't think he is going to reproduce them anymore, but you never know. The chances of finding another nice original Buick piece is not looking good. My old lady says keep it the way it is, but i like the look. toddragatz@gmail.com

Sounds like you have a lot of Olds parts, do you set up at Homecoming? Do you know Tom Palasty? Good guy (Olds guru) that hooked me up with many parts over the years. Haven't heard from him in a while.
