I am looking for the following parts- nice condition, used is fine as long as they are extremely nice and is preferred over new, except for the rubber and headliner. I have all these parts but i want nicer than what i have. Maybe you have these parts lying around but not using them??? Thanks! Please Check back often as i will be adding to this.




Fender cowl chrome trim near windshield
Lug nuts
SS2 center-cap inserts
Deck filler panel between rear window and trunk lid
Trunk drop-off filler panels
Green headliner (maybe you have a new one lying around?)
Weatherstripping (trunk, roof rails, doors)

You know that all the parts (except the deck filler panel) you are looking for can be bought new as licensed GM reproduction parts?

 

Alan, yes, i know that but i actually prefer a really nice used part in many cases since my car is not "perfect" and adding a new part sometimes looks odd.

 

Just a suggestion then, if you can clean up or restore some of the metal parts it won't matter if they aren't perfect. The soft stuff like hood blanket, weatherstripping and headliner?? I don't know why anyone would go with used stuff there instead of replacing with new. Anyway - good luck with your project and parts search.

 

It took me a few years,and about 4 different sets of OLDSMOBILE letters,to get a perfect used set,but they fit correctly.Then I found an NOS set.I still haven't put any of them on,and the car has been painted for 15yrs now.Don't want to rush a good thing.The chrome diecast pieces are best found in the southwest.Most of them have nice patina.

 

I have some door edge guards, $25.00 shipped reasonable?
Do you need the chromed pot metal "eyebrow" trim pieces for the quarter end caps, or the end caps themselves? Also, do you need the sport mirror or the chrome one?
I have a new hood insulation in the box. $30.00 shipped?

I have the Oldsmobile trunk letters for a 72 supream used I can snap some pics if interested I have been storing them for about ten years now

Not sure if interested but I do have a few other parts I have a front fender trim and a rear one I don't know witch side tho and also a lower rocker trim to I think it's passenger side if your car had that option

 

I have the full 5 piece trim set for the quarter end caps and trunk lid in very nice condition, I really don't want to separate them so let me know if you would be interested in the full set - I'd take $75.
