I am looking for a 72 quadrajet for a 350 motor. Does not need to work as I will be sending it out to get worked anyways.

 

Have you talked to the rebuilders yet? They usually have hundreds of cores lying around. Thats how I got mine.

 

No I have not, I thought they usually wanted you to provide the core for exchange. Who did you get yours from? Thanks, Bill

 

I got mine from Rusty Petrovic
He has a company called The Carb Doctor. Here's his link http://www.carburetor.ca/carbs/tech/...jet-index.html His prices are very good. He didn't need a core for me. I got a brand new (rebuilt that is) 7042250 from him a couple of years ago. When I bought it, his price was better than anywhere I've ever shopped. Plus, he guarantees his workmanship. Anyway, bla bla bla I recommend this guy highly.

EGR is blocked off in picture, but is going back on soon. Peter (my mech) spent some time making something that looks pretty decent though. It will change again when I install the cruise control linkage.

And yes, I have upgrade?? to HEI. However, I'm taking that out and putting back the stock distributor now that I have an OEM dual snorkel model from 72.

 

I could only find parts for sale on this site, not complete carbs. I will search again.
