Hello Everyone,

Hello,

I'm looking for the washer bottle and a rad overflow bottle?

I have a good used washer bottle and think the cap and hoses are with it is black in color. $20.00 plus shipping. The overflow jug is very rare and requires a mounting bracket that is also rare. I don't have a spare.

IIRC the overflow bottle was a 'Technical Service Bulletin' kit that was dealer installed as a band-aid for overheating issues so it's not technically necessary (and, as mentioned, will be difficult to find) unless you really want it on there. My original '71 never had one.

Both the radiator overflow bottle and the mounting bracket are available from one or more of the Olds reproduction parts vendors...not cheap but available.

The repro. washer jug is widely available (now) and is not terribly priced---usually about $40.00 bare. I will tell you ( not because I offered a used one for sale here) that the mounting tabs are "close". I also had a new repro that leaked at the seam the first time I filled it. Remember, it is a mass produced plastic part that probably cost pennies to produce. The overflow is another story. I think they are around $200.00 plus bracket. Try "oldspackrat" or "jensen77" here for a used one.

Thanks for the help but I think I found what I am looking for, I found a dual washer\coolant reservoir. 95-01 Ford Explorer, possibly others....
fits behind the passenger side headlights.

I mounted a washer jar on the rh fender well and used the cap from my old 70 Cadillac. It sits at the perfect height and matches the washer jar so it looks very correct. That jar is designed to fit either side in the first place. You should be able to find a cap with the two nipples at most parts stores.
