Check out Original Parts Group or NPD. They sell repro ones that used the same molds as the originals(from what I have seen). I was surprised with the quality but I would inspect them before buying. I went to National Parts Depot in Ventura and OPG in Hunting Beach, CA and the repro lenses are amazing. I now save NOS ones and use repro ones for cars that are driven. Regards

OPG tends to be more expensive than Fusicks or Parts Place. You might also want to keep a search on ebay for NOS olds parts. The 71 tail lights often come on for really cheap $ still in the GM box. Fusicks price is $39.00 each (uppers and lowers) Page 24 on catalogue.

Parts Place $35.00 / lens upper and lower.

OPG by comparison is 49.95 ON SALE!! These guys all carry the same parts at different prices. You have to shop around.

lenses

Yes--what you all said is very correct-- but look at them at night -- all lit up--I think the repops look too orange. If you had a complete full set of them-- fine --but--You cant mix and match.

Imitation is not real GM==BUT both Fusik and Parts Place do sell the best stuff that is currently available

Wasn't aware of that. But one thing for sure - sometimes people will swap the lenses and not remember to take the red inner lens out of the old lenses for whatever reason. That would definitely make the new lights look orange. That result would be the same for OEM replacement lenses - I know cause I goofed up the first time I had to change a broken one . Also have to remember there are 2 different sizes for upper and lower lenses.

Thanks for all the input. I have a real problem buying imported chinese parts. I have a NOS pair of lowers and I think I will hold out for a NOS pair of uppers.

71 Cutlass NOS Upper Tail light lenses

You are most welcome, it has been an interesting discussion. Yes, many tail lights have an inner lense. I also do not like to buy imports, only made in USA stuff for me. I have bought repro lenses made in USA which made me happy. I wish you the best. Regards

are you still looking for these? i can come up with a full set but i will not be able to brake them up. it would be a complete set only. they are not mine so i would also have to see what he wants for them. if you are still looking for them i can find out what he wants.
