think about a fiberglass piece then use a 2x4 for bending the rail down if needed in the corners. then use Camaro trunk weather stripping it is thinner.

I also have a real clean lid I'm in NY, I bought it from someone on Ebay and he said it was for a fast back, it turns out it was for a convert. I'll pm you with my email if you need it and I'm close to you.
