Looking to purchase a 70-72 console, 4 speed preferred but I can modify an auto console if need be. Doesn't have to be nor do I want a perfect, restored console for 700 bucks or anything even close. I just want something that I can use as a template that's in one piece, has the tabs unbroken, etc. I am going to be producing an updated version of these with swing out cup holders built in, Charging Ports, USB plugs, GPS, etc, along with all the modern conveniences that newer car consoles come with. We are currently working on the Chevrolet A-Body version for the same years right now and we need to get started on the Olds version since the buzz we got at SEMA this year was incredible. I will be putting the first one in my own 71, Black on Black, W30, A/C, 5 speed car. It should look like it could have come from GM when I am finished with it.
