70-72 Console or Console Parts
Hello all,
Looking for some parts for the console in my 71 442. I need all the interior parts for it (i.e. inserts, light lens, light socket, and the screws to hold in inserts).
Please let me know if anyone has these parts.
I could be interested in a complete console, if the price is right.
Thank you,
John

I probably have the light socket with harness, but if I do, it will be in the "Electricals" crate which is in a different barn and will be another $10.

Soapy warm (at most and not hot) water.....don't use any of the typical spray cleaners like 409, etc or any automotive spray cleaners (Purple Power, etc).
No scrub brushes, etc either.....just get the surface wet and try to LIGHTLY dab the surface with a cotton or paper towel soaked in the soap/water solution.
Rinse and let dry and see what they look like.
You can fog on some flat or semi flat black paint or vinyl paint to darken them up some and that will help hide any "defects". Don't hose on the paint.....lighter dry spraying from a distance .
That was an EXCELLENT price on those......repro liners are A LOT more + shipping.
