70 442 rear window

Anybody know best place to purchase rear window for my 70 442 hardtop... Seems like my local glass guys having problems finding it! It's too bad I have the original but it has some scratches...thanks

70 442 rear window

Since I'm looking for the rear tinted window for my 70 442 hardtop... Is that also the same as an s? Might be a stupid question but I really don't know what fits thanks

Yes, the 442 has the same body as a Cutlass S and will use the same rear windshield. The Cutlass Supreme from 1970-72 is different, has a smaller back windshield and a flatter trunk lid.

The term coupe might still be applied to a Cutlass S. The F85 sometime called a sedan had the post around the door and back seat side glass. But I'm 99% sure it had the same front and back glass. For 1970-72 I believe the only difference would be the Supreme or 442,S,F85. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone else will chime in! Back to my other comment, if your purchasing a used piece from a member here, you might want to see if someone is close enough to drive and pick it up. I've shipped glass and even with a crate its still a little dicey.

Thank you so much for the response... Yes every single glass company has something different listed... So confusing the last glass company only listed for it said fastback ugh... Anyway yes I'm trying to find somebody close to me I know exactly what you're saying!
