I'm looking for a set of '70 442 Grilles, I will consider damaged grilles as well.........what have you got?

Do you have to have originals or will repros work? I have a pair of repros here I did some preliminary repairs on for a customer. He thought he was getting originals but apparently, from the pics he looked at before buying them, it wasn't possible to tell they were repros.

 

They are to be used on the race car pictured in my signature.

They will kind of be "grafted" into the front facia of the fiberglass front end, so the grilles don't need to be perfect examples to do the job. The OE mounts as well as the other areas that they generally see damage, won't be visible once "grafted in". Thought maybe some one might have something that fits the bill, before buying a set of repo's.

We have a '70 W-30 that has a pretty nice set that has had a couple of repairs done to them. If someone had a perfect unrepaired set I might consider purchasing the undamaged set for our W-30, and use the set that is currently on that car for the race car............but I'd rather not, .........especially if someone happens to have a set that are not quite as nice.
