69 sport steering wheel part wanted

Does anyone have a junk 69 sport wheel that has a decent stainless trim band that they would want to sell? This is the 1/8 wide band that is one the outer edge of the wheel....I can post pics later...
I know these parts are "unobtanium" as someone recently reminded me of, but I thought I would try....

thanks
tim

Tim, I have one, but it's trashed. I did pull some of the trim out, interesting it is thin like tin foil attached to the plastic. I wonder if you could just fill the 1/8th gap with some other type of metal. Maybe CNC aluminum ring.

I've never set the two side by side, but the 3 spoke Buick sport wheel has a stainless ring around the outside that looks very much like the 1969 Olds sport wheel one. If neither of the other guys can help you with this I may have a buick wheel that I could compare with my 1969 sport wheel. If they do match that would greatly increase the chance of finding a good one to use on your wheel.

thanks everyone for their replies...

it is for the 3 spoke sport wheel ...

I did buy a $10.00 Pontiac wheel thinking they would be the same diameter, but the Pontiac wheel is an inch smaller...

I will have to measure the Olds wheel again for the diameter...maybe a buick wheel will work...

thanks again...
