69 Passenger Side Mirror Question

I wanted to add and ordered a passenger side mirror for my 69 Cutlass. It is not the same shape as my driver side remote mirror. When the passenger side mirror was optioned for a 69 cutlass like mine with a remote driver side unit were they just different? Any insight is appreciated. I wanted the passeger side one more for safety than apperance but it bugs me that they aren't the same. - Steven

They did that all the way up till '72. I have a 4 door that has the chrome remote mirror & the passenger chrome mirror is different. It's ugly but correct.

How different?
The non-remote type are the same, well, mirror images. Heh
The remote type LH is fatter because it has a housing but otherwise they look the same.

Maybe you could modify a RLHM head to accept a RH Stalk and have a remote looking but not really remote RH mirror that matches.
