... and is there really any difference between a Cutlass/F-85 front bumper and a 4-4-2 front bumper?

Prefer a NOS don't mind if it's used. Will eventually rechrome but want something that looks decent for cruising til than.

The guy i bought the car from gave me not 1 but 2 70 bumper. Installed it for now but I don't like how it looks.

So if anyone is interested in a 70 bumper lmk.

 

arruv89, I have a original 69, re chromed. $500. Also have a repop for $400. I only need one and do not care witch so you have your pick. LMK if your interested .I put them on here about a year ago in parts for sale. Now price has been dropped. Prices are without shipping but can ship if needed. where are you located?

Is it possible the guy you bought it from who gave you the '70 bumpers now has a '70 with a '69 bumper and doesn't know the difference? You might want to check with him.

EDIT: I'm only partly kidding.

 

You can't do the '69 bumper on a '70 because the hood extension would hit the bumper when you closed it.

Hey, if you're still looking, I just saw a thread by @BeenThere where he had a decent-sounding '69 bumper for $175.

 

Yeah but he won’t ship it. I’m in California and I just shipped one to him in San Francisco.
