69 442 Center console light assembly?
Hello, this is my first post as im a new owner of a 69 442. I have been reading a ton of info on the sight and find it very helpful. Im about 6 weeks into the restoration and my center console box is missing the light assembly that consists of the lens and part that holds the bulb and screws into the back of the box. I have ordered many parts from OPGI, Parts Place, Brothers, ect ect... and none have this part. Any suggestions. Its an Auto trans car by the way. Thanks

Advertise at this site in the Parts Wanted section. That might be "hard to find" parts but I suspect someone here will have them for sale. I was looking for a fan shroud for my '68 4-4-2 (a one-year-only part) and found it on this site. Also, check www.442.com as they have Parts Wanted and Parts for Sale sections as well. I'd also watch ebay - oddly enough, I found some good parts on ebay for my '68.
You will enjoy this site. Great people here with lots of technical expertise. I would have never gotten my car together correctly without the generous help from people at this site.

The 4 speed console has a blackend out lens but there was no light in 69. It was eliminated it after the first year or two of that console design

It's an auto trans car and console. I have an original 69 Assembly manual and it shows the lamp assembly in the console and even has the part number 395259. I included the picture from the assembly manual here.

Have you called Fusick and seen if the harness (part number 11665)includes the light socket (I assume you're missing it)? I'm pretty sure someone reproduces the lens too.
edit:
I just did a quick look around and couldn't the lens either. Place a wanted post here. I think I have the interior lens for a 4 speed console (it's white plastic covered with that black fuzzy stuff). It looks similar but I don't think it's the same as the auto one. It appears from the assembly manual pic that there's a mount for the bulb on it. I'm not that familiar with the auto console componants

Thanks for the input. I have the whole wiring harness and bulb socket. Just need a place to plug the socket into haha. No idea why all the reproduction businesses have every part from A-Z and every light assembly besides this one.

Hi thanks for the response. Is there anyway I could see a picture of it. Had a few emails about it and they were the wrong ones. My email is Ajax250@gmail.com. Thanks
