68 Cutlass TH350 Gas Pedal and Kickdown cable
#2
You can get a kickdown cable from the local autoparts store. One from a 73-77 cutlass should work just fine.
As far as gas pedals go, I used to have a milk crate full of them, but I'm not sure if I sold them for scrap or not. It's not everyday someone needs a gas pedal. LOL probably once every 5 years.
Just so you're aware, the gas pedal isn't special for a th350 setup. There is no electrical switch, it is cable operated from the carburetor linkage.

I am going to guess that you need a later year gas pedal to run a cable instead of manual throttle linkage?
If that is the case, I know that I have a pedal from a camaro here, and can cut the assembly and surrounding sheet metal from the firewall so you can plug weld it into place on the interior side of your firewall .

68 Cutlass TH350 Gas Pedal and Kickdown cable
The problem is the T-350 didn't come out until 1969; you could probably use a '69 pedal, but you would need to put a square hole in your firewall for the cable to attach to. '68 did have a cable throttle and the T-350 cable is operated by the gas pedal on Oldsmobiles.

If the 68 pedal is already cable driven, than there should already be a throttle cable hole in the firewall. It sounds to me like he just needs to address the carburetor linkage, and not the pedal.
You just have to run the kickdown cable from the passenger side of the trans, to a 2 square carb bracket, and a new stud on the carburetor arm.
Am I missing something here?
If you are running a holley, this is the one you will need. http://www.honestcharley.com/hot-rod...r4-holley.html
If running a quadrajet, those brackets came on pretty much everything olds until 1990. They mount to the 2 rear bolts of the carburetor
