The non-supreme ones are similiar to the front door armrests, while the supreme ones I'm looking for are the larger ones shown. Should also have a metal filler piece for alongside the seat back.

Aren't those the same as 69-72 for the rear seat on your '68? If so, I may be able to get all the pieces you need.
The underlying metal piece of the armrest will likely have surface rust on the exposed backside....the factory did not paint them and left the metal bare. Of course, the amount of rust depends on the environment they "lived in".
The '69 or '70-72 rear armrests used 2 chrome screws at the front curved vertical area for attachment....not sure what '68's use for attachment.
