'68 Black cutlass S dash - have another for trade

I am looking for a dash for my '68 Cutlass S, black is preferred. I have the dash of a 442 from what I can tell. It is black with the woodgrain strip and the 442 logo on the glove box. If anyone has a plain black dash I would be interested in a trade or to buy it.

I have one from a 68 f85. I may have a box for an S model. The dash is in the the s and the f85's is out completely. If interested, I can post pics.

I just snapped these as the dash sits. I haven't cleaned this up or anything so it will not look as pretty as it could. I found a crack in the center of it that I was not aware of, but still have one mounted in the car that is in better shape if the pad is integral. I can get some close ups if interested, or shots of the other one.

Could you take a few pics of the other one? That one looks like a little more work than I'm prepared to tackle.

Just got back off the road, I will be very busy this weekend, but will try to get them and post. I actually thought that other one was in better shape until I went down to take pics. Hopefully I'll be able to get them posted by Sunday afternoon.

Just snapped these off. I think you may want to use the box cover you have. When I bought this thing, half the car was inside of it, and scarred the box. I did not notice that before. Otherwise, after a quick clean up, nothing seemed to jump out at me. obviously the holes have been "relieved" for an aftermarket radio. I don't think it would show with a stocker in there though. Honestly thought the other one was in better shape. Let me know what you think.

Too tired to think straight. You have air, I don't. have you checked to see if these things come apart. I have been working on my truck all weekend and have not had a chance to check. We may have issues there.

I'll take a look and see what I can figure out. May take me a few days to get back with you.

That's fine. I'll be on the road all week most likely.

Surprise surprise...no freight today... I'll be glad to be running under my own authority again. Needless to say I had some time to look at the backside of that dash. The unit does separate, so either dash will work. let me know what you want to do, personally I think the f 85 dash is in better condition, dash pad excepted. At least as far as the chrome is concerned. The "s" dash seems to be yellowing, not sure why could be 40 years of cigarette smoke and be cleanable, or not. If you are still interested, I can investigate, and clean up the f85 dash for some fair comparisons. where are you located.

Located in Marion, IN. Sorry, haven't even had a chance to make it out to the garage yet. I am still interested in the dash. If you get a chance to take a closer look that would be great. No need to rush, it may still be a few days before I get outside myself.
