1968 or 69 442 cutlass left side (driverside) rear conv peak moulding needed.i have one but damaged

 

Just an FYI - I needed this same piece for my '69 a few years ago. I repaired my original but it wasn't good enough for the new paint. Someone told me the Parts Place keeps a stash of original trim that they restore and will sell you pieces if you have a core they can repair. At the time, they had one driver's side quarter molding and I paid a few hundred bucks for it, plus giving them my original as a core. Theirs had been restored well and was flawless so it was definitely worth it.
As I'm sure you know, these are hard to come by. You might want to check with them to see if they have one (might be my old original!). They don't advertise that they have these parts but it's definitely worth calling them.
