67 Cutlass, rear q. panel molding

Looking for left and right stainless steel molding trim for the back of the quarter panels on a 67 Cutlass. This would go from the stainless wheel well lip molding back to the rear bumper along the bottom of the quarter panel.

Restored or restorable condition. Thanks.

If they are for a Supreme they are actually potmetal. Somewhat difficult to find in nice condition they are. If the chrome didnt pit or get scraped the mounting studs pitted and snapped.

I will look tomorrow these are the same on 2 or 4 door cutlass supremes and they are hard to find as already mentioned either pitted or studs broken off. I amsure that is why yours are screwed on.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

I would guess that's why, but did the guy have to put the screw dead center in the thing? Ugh.

These are one of the last parts I think I need before I get going on a resto next year-ish.

What difference does it make where he put the screws? They are not good anyway you look at it.
I checked and I don't have any that don't have the mounting studs broken off.

Thanks
Larry

These sometimes turn up on ebay. There are places that can restore and rechrome potmetal parts but it is expensive. Just an option if you get desperate.

My point was that the guy could have tried to conceal it a bit.

Still looking I guess.

Cutlass Quarter Panel Moldings

Here's the set that I have, not perfect, but darn nice. Has scratches on the very bottom of them. You'll be hard pressed to find a set much better.

I have one side ( I am not sure which) that has been re-chromed. It is pot metal and I had 4 all done at once and this one had part of a stud missing. I will get it out of the shed and send you a picture to see if you want to use it. I think it is usable but I had another that was not damaged so I used it.
regards,
crow442

fende trim

attached are some pics of the part. It was re chromed a few years back. the stud that is broken is the last picture and has enough left to locate on the fender ok but you will have work out some way to fasten it.
If you can use it I will take $35 plus shipping for it.
regards,
Crow
