At some point will be needing a front bench seat for my 67 conv. I have the straight bench now, but would like one with the center armrest. I remember the strato-bench from the Delta. Something like that. Also It would help if it were in the southeast US as shipping from the west coast I'm sure would be prohibitive. Thanks.

strato bench is big car only...the seat backs look like bucket seat backs...

a body got a different version..

i have a mint one from a 67 GTO....but am prob too far away to help

I think a strato bench came in a 67 cutlass supreme with center arm rest.

No, marxjunk is correct. The "STRATO" bench is a special seat that has the same upper seat cushions as bucket seats, with an armrest between them- it was only available in the full size cars & toranado's & rivieras & I think but not positive Cadillac's. It is the same size as the "standard" full size bench seat, only cooler looking.

The bench for the a-body is slightly narrower- for Buick, Olds & pontiac cars there were two varieties- a bench with arm rest and bench without arm rest. interior trim option determined which your car would have had.

Chevy A-bodies only came with no arm rest- no option.

All good info, thanks. BTW, seat does not have to be perfect, probably could use a complete frame and springs, (and armrest) assembly.
