Hello- I'm looking to purchase a complete left 1/4 for my 66. It's a 4 door car. Willing to travel from New England.

It can come from any 1966 88 4 door of same body style. You may have to fill some trim holes.

Not 100% sure if 65 will work. Cars are very similar.

 

Thanks for the information. The year range is a unclear to me. If anyone has the hollander info that would be great!

 

have a 66 88 convert parts car,straight left quarter but has rot low behind the wheel,in mass.just got this car today but not keeping it long

Hollander (40 th Ed.1974) is a bit vague.
No mention of 88 model for '66 model year.

This is exactly as it appears in the manual. Page 101, Quarter Panel Assembly - Complete. Well it gets left justified when posting.
Guess it would be under "others" Using that logic - #240 and 242 are '66 only. Yep in the interchange section, at back of section - 88 models ARE mentioned.

 

I have the vaguest memory that Oldsobsolete might have that left quarter, but be warned, their prices can be eye popping. No recollection of whether it was a 2 or 4 door.

Also you might check GM Sport Salvage in Stockton, CA. They used to be in San Jose CA, but moved. Their associate, Larry Camuso, sometimes has body parts just like this from CA less rusted cars.

I do appreciate the lead and I'm sorry I didn't get back to you. I might regret it but I figured between the rust, dents and the 2 door mismatch it wouldn't be worth trying to make it work.
