I am not sure what they call this brace.. am also not sure if it reproduced, or not sure if it is only present in a convertible ,,, or not sure if it is 66’ only. But looking for a rust free one for the passenger rear seat. I have attached a photo of what it looks like on the drivers side.. but need the passenger side.. any one have one of these ... or what it is called??

Body stiffener. Have seen it on 70-72 A cars. Parted a '66 coupe recently don't believe those were there. May be convertible only.

Thanks newmexguy, doesn't look like these are reproduced by anyone either... not even for a Chevy Chevelle. So looks like I will need to fab my own. Not super critical how it looks , since these are all covered up by the rear seat and arm rests...

Believe side impact standards were tightened for the ‘70 model year, as that is when door crash beams and those rear floor stiffeners appeared in the A hardtops. You might reach out to a southwest dismantler such as Franks Pontiac parts or DVAP. Am guessing other A convertibles would have that piece.
