66-67 400 .030 pistons
Rod, read this from the 442.com FAQ pages:
400E pistons are pretty hard to find on the shelf, as I'm sure you know by now. With compression height and pin bore the same, (Olds) 350 pistons are a good alternative.
The E block (early 400) can only be safely bored .100". That's all. The cheapest way to go is get standard 350 pistons and bore the engine .057". They work great. You can even get the flat top W-31 pistons and have it (compression) the same as the originals.
