66 442 Rear Bumper-wanted
I also experienced this with 66 rear bumper. To my knowledge they are not reproduced and oem are indeed light and flimsy at about 22 lbs. Possibly the factory wanting to reduce weight for NRA drag racing homologation with the tripower. In comparison 67 bumper is over 30 lbs. Regardless they are hard to find expensive to replate.I spent 1400.00 from a chrome bandit in Asbury Park New Jersey who did a terrible job with a bumper and destroyed a hood moulding which was also difficult to replace. Any leads or corrections are welcome and appreciated.
Use Tri-City for your bumpers: Tri-City Plating Co. Inc. - Chrome Plating for the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas (tricityplating.com)
