65 starfire parts needed

me and my brother just got a 65 starfire to restore for my dad ( it was his first new car and bragged to us how fast it was) we plan on giving it to him in late may. we just started the restore this weekend. this car is 99.9% complete and in great shape for a 47 year old car. we are looking for a few things and parts seem to be tough to get.. we are looking for upper ball joints and passenger side rear wheel well molding . that is all we need for now i will post some pics as we go

I had a '65 Jetstar I with the towing [4:33] package - loaded as a Starfire!
Believe the suspension parts are still available at your local Auto Parts store, but that wheel opening moulding you'll have to search for!

I have several of those wheelcovers and centercaps that I have realised I'm not gonna do anything with them. Bought them for my 64 Starfires but can't find good wheels. I'll make you a good package deal on them if you want them. As in shipping will probably be more than the caps, because they are heavy.

If you can find the correct front and rear resonators, these will make your Starfire sound like it is supposed to. The early production cars had it both sides, then it changed to left side only, then mid-year they did away with them and went to conventional exhaust. Are your tailpipe ends good? Lot of 65's had them disconnected and run out under the bumper.

I know of a set that was available last I knew. I purchased 4 myself and I think he still has a set. PM me Rocketraider if your interested, I will give you his number.

It changes the equation by alot when you actually find the special deep-dish, (reduced back-space) rims with the 3-extra holes in the hub. As you know, these are almost impossible to find as most were junked as ordinary rims.

Question

Sjcrft: Nice car I have one also, I would like to ask you if you have one of the N-93 wheels as a spare (meaning 5 wheels per car) or does the car have a plain rim. Also are there any decals specific to N93 option wheels on the trunk lid???? I have 4 complete wheels and would like to know if I need a fifth?????
