65 Starfire AC line needed
#2
In case it’s hard/impossible to find to original line and you want to get the A/C system functional:
I’m running my ‘66 S/f with Freon & no muffler. Frankly I’m not sure the muffler delete was much of a loss. It’s not louder or different except the deletion of a part Olds considered important. My refrigerant lines were built by my A/C guys as functional, but without too much concern about originality or a factory look.
Just so you know it can be done different ways. However, that approach may not appeal to you.
In which case, you may want to aim at a custom fabricated line from a specialist shop in steel, aluminum, or brass (then paint to aluminum) in the right shape with the right curves and connectors. Not impossible, but I don’t know how judges (if that’s where you’re aiming) would react to a fabricated correct-shape line vs. factory original which might not exist anymore.
Just my $.02, from the picture it looks like you may be more interested in originality than I am. Wishing you every success
