Hi I'm looking for a console T-handle shifter for my 65 cutlass f85.

 

Be aware that nearly all of them have broken ears (which I'm guessing is why you need one), so be careful when you are looking at a replacement.

 

Yes the right side fixed button has to be removed along with spring and piston under it before t-handle can be removed to lift out console. I'm guessing forcing handle off is how they get broken. There is a breakdown of it on this site.
