1964 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Tail Light Related Stuff.

To the best of my limited knowledge of this car, I think all this stuff is 1964 Olds 98 tail light related. Included are two of the driver’s side tail light bezel, and one of the passenger side.

There is a stamped steel piece that is clearly asymmetrical and seems to fit better on the driver’s side. I think it goes just under the pot metal part. It is almost 9 inches wide.

Finally, there are 2 of the vertical castings with the hole in the center. Those seem to be symmetrical, but there is clearly an “up” and a “down” way to install them. These bezels are likely the finest used ones remaining on earth. They are hysterically nice. Just yummy good.

If there is any yuckky blechhy pitting on the exposed surfaces, I can’t see it. These are just drop dead gorgeous. The steel part is also pretty nice, and pit-free.

The tiny 4.4 inch tall parts do exhibit a little pitting, the chrome is still highly reflective, but there are tiny pits. Once installed on the car, nobody will notice. It will look perfect. But in your kitchen under bright lights, and 10 inches from your eyeballs, you can see it.
