I am asking on behalf of a friend. He is in need of a replacment engine for his 1962 Olds Starfire; 394 c.i., 345 h.p. V8 Not that it makes any difference, but his location is Windsor, ONT Canada.

There has been a couple 394's on this site. One was a complete engine/transmission and I think the guy was from Missouri. He seemed motivated to sell was asking about $1,000.

 

You might want to fix the year of that Oldsmobile on this post, it reads 1922. Most on here will catch it but you never know...... Tedd

 

If he doesn’t cry about numbers and is interested in a ‘61 394, canton Ohio Craigslist has one with the slim Jim for $750
