61 Dynamic 88

I just bought an awesome unmolested Dynamic 88. The fenders have some rust but are repairable, but I'd prefer new ones. Is there anywhere that has new sheetmetal? If not I'd be interested in some good used ones.

No reproduction available, and NOS is spotty. Nobody saved the big car stuff when they were raiding dealerships for NOS parts.

Sheetmetal from a dry southwestern area is your best bet if you decide not to repair what you have. All 61 full-size Olds use the same fenders, but the trim mounting holes will be different between series, so you may still end up welding some stuff up if the fender comes from a Super 88, Ninety Eight or Starfire. If ya gotta do all that, might as well fix what ya got.

Thanks, thats what I have been finding out. A gentleman sent me a pm offering two for a mere $400 each. Mine are pretty good. I just thought it would be easier to replace them if available. I only need to patch two areas.

There is a guy selling a near perfect one on the Hamb, out of Ca for $100. Passenger side. Says he has the drivers side too. Greyhound is your friend. Wish I had the money, I'd be buying them!
