55 super 88 ignition bezel

As the title says I'm looking for the retaining ring or bezel to hold the ignition in the dash of my '55 super 88.
Thanks

Somebody, like Ozzie, might jump in before I do a search on that part, but I think it should be fairly universal in the mid fifties era. Stay tuned.

OK, not much luck actually finding one for you, but the bezel (or escutcheon) is part number 566463 group 2.188.

I saw an ignition switch with bezel on ebay for $85. if you want to buy it and throw away the switch and keep the bezel. Don't know how desperate you are!

The ignition switch was the same for all the 52-55 cars, so any bezel from those years will fit your ignition switch and hold it in place, but design changes year to year.

Try John (tru-blue442) he was parting out a 55 and I believe a 54 awhile back, I don't know what is left if anything but he is a great guy to do business with if he does. Probably Buick Cad ond Poncho would be the same and also work. Another option would be to call John (another John) at Big M classic car dismantialers in Willams Ca 530 473 2225 there is a good chance he will have something and he will ship anyplace, another good guy... Ok cool. Will try those guys and see what I come up with...

I must have missed that one on ebay...but for now that's a little high on price for me..

It's weird....I got a parts car and of all the things I need that car doesn't have the ring I need also...what are the chances of that eh hahah.
