54 1/2" driveshaft needed 68 Cutlass w/TH400

I'm going to a Turbo 400 transmission. from a TH350.

What's the most cost effective way to deal with this situation??

Thanks a lot for your help!!!! You're opinions are invaluable to me.

1. Look for someone that already has one?
2. Have mine cut down to size and balanced?
3. Serch for a direct swap from the Local - Pull a part?

Easiest and safest way is to have a new one made. I just got a brand new 3' steel with 1350 soilid U joints and TH400 yolk for $295 delivered. Rated up to 1000hp. Why used/trust a 40 year old piece. Just my .02 JKaz
