I'm looking for a complete 455, pref. 1973 but not critical, have some parts
been freighted from Paramount CA, so would have to be delivered clean
on a pallet ready for shipping to Australia, let me know what you have

Cus, are you looking for a rebuilder or a runner? I've shipped engines and transmissions to Australia and New Zealand. The buyer took care of shipping, I secured them to pallets and dropped off at a local shipper. Then they went somewhere in Southern California where they went in a shipping container. There's some arrangement where its cheaper to go into a shipping container that sits until full, then ships out. I'm located in Southern Oregon. John

 

Hello John,
Shipping is taken care of, just need to get it to Paramount ready.
Had a sale fall over, engine was a runner,( but I will re-build anyway),
once I received the engine & head numbers, it was a small block!!!
So just an original, pref. low mileage engine that hasn't been mucked
around with. Have to keep the purchase price down otherwise I pay
heaps of duty & GST etc.

 

I've got lots of 455's in pieces, this weekend I'll have to check and see if I've got a complete one that's extra.

OK still looking, as mentioned, the engine has to be around the L.A. area otherwise
freight will be too much, it's going to cost me $700 to ship it from Paramount CA,
so additional internal freight costs make it cost prohibitive,
